A&K’s Autonomous People Mover Wins 2019 American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) Shark Tank Competition 

Chicago, Illinois — July 11, 2019 — A&K Robotics was named winner of the Airport Shark Tank at the 5th Annual Airport Innovation Forum, where our Autonomous People Mover (APM), designed to improve mobility assistance in airports, was selected as the most impactful solution by the audience of North America’s leading aviation industry leaders.

The event was hosted in Chicago by AAAE, the world’s largest professional organization for airport executives, where the APM won by a landslide of votes. A&K Robotics’ CEO Matthew Anderson presented the potential of the APM mobility solution to increase accessibility, elevate passenger experience and make people’s lives better. With insights from of panel of expert judges, A&K Robotics earned 58% of the audience vote, winning against several later-stage companies.
