A&K Robotics is pleased to announce the addition of Tom Ryden to our Board of Advisors.

​

Tom Ryden is an experienced senior executive with deep expertise in scaling mobile robotics products and companies from start-up to international sales and distribution, and to IPO.

 

Tom was Director of Sales & Marketing at iRobot through the company’s initial public offering in 2005, before co-founding his own robotics company, VGo Communications, in 2007. A pioneer in telepresence robotics, VGo developed autonomous platforms to make communication more mobile and accessible to users in healthcare, education and other markets. After delivering hundreds of VGo platforms, the company was acquired by Vecna Robotics in 2015.

 

Today, as the Executive Director of MassRobotics, Tom continues to play an active role in developing the robotics community by helping to create and scale the next generation of successful robotics and IoT companies, providing the space and resources they need to develop, prototype, test and commercialize their products and solutions.

 

The expertise and experience that Tom Ryden is bringing to A&K Robotics, having built and scaled multiple successful robotics companies in the autonomous navigation space, will be invaluable to supporting A&K’s next stage of international growth and expansion.
